Installation was pretty easy. It™€™s a well designed system and the color went great with the room. No problems even though I have metal windows. It™€™s running perfectly. This is just for a bedroom to cool down the sleeping area without paying to cool the entire house. I was very impressed and very pleased with the quality.

I loved my AC unit so much!!!! Kept me so cold during these hot summer months. Best one around for sure!! It was quiet when I was sleeping, great energy saver. Installation was easy as pie, I am a single female putting it in. I used the remote from my bed with no issues, worked well!

Should™€™ve gone for more watts

I love the sleek look and how small it is but it was not the right purchase for this sweltering NYC heat. The 64 degree cap made it really difficult to keep my room cool. These old apartments aren™€™t the best at being insulated so it took a lot of work and staying very still to cool down. Noise is fine. Installation was relatively easy except that I did need to get professional help to screw AC into metal window frame. Energy saving fine. I wish more of the AC balanced inward and the controls are as expected. I just wish I could lower the temp.

I'd love to give this unit a 5 star but after installing it and letting it run for 14 hours, it never blew cold air. Not even cool. The compressor kicked on but still no cold air. The air flow was really good. I was excited to have the 6000btu. I love the design and color. Back to the drawing board of looking for another AC.

Great AC for a small room

This GE air conditioner was perfect for our bedroom. It was very simple to install straight out of the box. It cools our room fast, keeping it comfortable throughout the day. It has a lot of different settings. It has energy efficient settings as well bI love the black color. It matches our farmhouse decor. The noise on this AC is very minimal. Only thing that would have been nice is if it had a remote control to switch settings right from my bed. It seems durable and will last us for years. Perfect AC for a small room. We are very happy with it and would recommend it.

My husband is more than happy with his new a/c unit for his shed/mancave! It was quick and easy to install, literally took him less than 5 minutes to pull the old one out and put the new one in. It was packed well but took a little damage on the backside from our careless delivery driver. It still looks fantastic all around. Also love that it comes with a remote! We have a large shed, almost 200 square feet, and the a/c cools it well given the conditions. It took a few hours, but the unit was able to get the almost 103 degree shed down to an almost comfortable 85. After we properly insulate the shed, I have no doubt the unit will keep it cooler as preferred.

Wow oh wow, what a powerful little unit. I ended up with a 6000 btu unit and man it can cool. Super quiet and also super easy to install this thing is a work horse.
